Salt and pepper sandwiches don’t sound all that appealing, I suppose. OK, how about salt and pepper ice cream sandwiches. Still no? All right, how about salt and pepper triple chocolate ice cream sandwiches? Yeah, there we go. Now I’ve got your attention. So here’s what you do:
If you know me and/or my blog, you know I am always happy to take special requests from friends and family. So when my best friend’s mom requested chocolate chai meringues for her birthday, I was more than happy to oblige and the gears in my head started turning immediately.
Sometimes a recipe just comes together with almost no effort, and something that you made to use up an odd ingredient ends up being fabulously tasty. So tasty, in fact, that you have to share the results with as many people as possible, even though you don’t really want to.
