Oh Nuts! A Giveaway!

Hey guys! Are you ready to do some holiday baking? I’m just about ready (getting my recipients list in order, compiling lists of ingredients I’ll need, making last minute tweaks and overhauls to recipes…basically being insane about it) but first I need to do a little shopping. I’m sure you could use a few things, too. That’s where this post comes in!
Local purveyor of nutty goodness Oh! Nuts has generously offered a $25 gift certificate to one reader of VerySmallAnna. That would definitely give you a headstart on assorted nuts and/or dried fruits,or you could blow it all at once and pick up a gift basket!
There are three ways to enter!
1. You can go to the Oh! Nuts Christmas gifts or Hanukkah gifts page and choose your favorite gift. Leave a comment on this post with the name and url of the gift you like most.
2. You can go to the Oh! Nuts facebook page and post on the wall the url and name of your favorite Hanukkah Gift OR Christmas Gift, plus mention that you’re there via VerySmallAnna.
3. You can follow @ohnuts on Twitter and say the following: “Win a free Hanukkah Gift from http://bit.ly/6nIsCi Follow @ohnuts & Retweet to enter.” OR “Win a free Christmas Gift from http://bit.ly/dUpizt Follow @ohnuts & Retweet to enter.”
The giveaway starts NOW and runs through Thursday, December 9. I’ll announce who won on Friday morning.
In honor of this giveaway I figured I’d do a little roundup of some of my favorite nutty recipes over the course of this blog, to give you some ideas of what you might do with the gift certificate if you win, perhaps…

Of course you remember the Caramel Banana Mochi Cakes I made back in September when I had a lovely bag of macadamia nuts from Oh! Nuts. These were incredibly good. Would-make-again good.

And before that, I used up some extra ingredients, including walnuts, when I made Honeyed Walnut Cardameringues.

It sure would have been nice to have had more sweet pecans on top of my Pumpkin Gingerbread Muffins.

And Rosewater Pistachio Frozen Yogurt just isn’t as good without the lovely green pistachios.

It’s always nice to have some almond flour on hand in case you get the urge to make a batch of Hibiscus Macarons…or any other flavor you can dream up!

Of course Oh! Nuts isn’t about just nuts. They’ve also got the dried cranberries and blueberries you’d need to make Oatmeal Choconilla Bluecrazies.

Good luck and happy holiday baking!
